The conference was really a wonderful experience. For a long time I thought that the Christian journey was one to be lived in denial of the body and its passions. However, now I understand that God’s great mystery encompasses my body and sexuality. The concept is not a justification for any sinful indulgence but, as Christopher said, the freedom from the compulsion to indulge. Again, it was a tremendous experience.

I found the Conference to be worthwhile in terms of Content and Presentation. However, being crammed into two short days, I as a senior found the sitting long - but not boring.
I have made a presentation to our Diocesan Staff meeting and it was referred to the Family Life Committee Chairs for our Diocese of Hamilton in Bermuda. I can let you know how it will progress. I managed to get a set of the CD's. Our Diocesan Staff were wondering if perhaps there might be DVD's available from the Video recording that was done. Please advise. I presume these would have to come through Ascension Press??
I am glad I was able to attend with a couple on behalf of our diocese. Hopefully something will materialize here to be implemented.
God bless you in your important work to Families.

I am the one who wants to thank you for planning such a magnificent event! I went with my cousin, both from Venezuela. We didn't know what to expect...we just went because we were very interested in listening to Christopher West.
It was an incredible surprise for us to see so many, many people when we entered the hall!!! I had never attended a conference with such a big audience and from that moment I started praying for the fruits of the event in the souls of all of us. It definitely changed my life, my way of thinking, my approach to God and the understanding of human sexuality from a dramatic new point of view.
We work with families and adolescents, giving classes, conferences and workshops in different subjects regarding personal growth, communication, love and sexuality. For this, the event was very enlightening for us and we are planning to share with many people the things we learned.
We congratulate you for your work, the way you move people, especially young ones. It is irrelevant to point the problems you had with the food the first day because everything else was so great that is not worth to even mention it.
Keep up the good work, that with the help of God and the Virgin, you will help many people in their approach to God and salvation. Count on my prayers for the fruits of your work, your community and your beautiful island.
Best wishes,

P.S.: I loved the singing!!!
To Family Life Commission:
I want to give thanks to you for the opportunity we have been given recently in the Conference you organized so well. I hope this time of thinking and hearing Christopher West will bear a lot of fruit in each one of us.
I have heard you are offering the possibility to see and hear again those teachings now by the TV and I want to congratulate you also for that. We hope the DVD or CD of the conference could be available too, when possible.
I wish you can continue the battle of the Catholic formation on this topic, so important in our days. I also pray that we could get very serious about the challenge Chris spoke about in one of the talks: to get the sense of Carnival and untwist the way it is celebrated, especially in "our" - I feel I'm a part of it, even being from Venezuela. I think Our Lord is pushing us to continue this struggle, full of hope. Thanks again and please don't forget to invite me for similar activities in the future.

Thanks for the information. We also want to thank you guys for putting on such a wonderful seminar and for the great hospitality shown us while we were there.
May God continue to bless you all and the work that you do in His name.
We would like to purchase the DVD, etc when it is available. Please keep us informed.

Thank you for a wonderful conference. It was more of a spiritual renewal experience for me. The Praise Team was just great!

Couldn’t let the time slip by and not pen in my kudos to the leaders on the Family Life Commission for the very successful seminar on Theology of the Body hosted over the weekend. Indeed I know you all must have had some very restless times in organizing same, but we know that the victory has already been won.
On reflection, I think that the food came late on Saturday in a spiritually deliberate attempt for everyone to sacrifice their desire for food by an impromptu fast, so necessary for us in mastering our selfish desires. This “penance” aided in the conversion of many, causing the lines for confession to be almost snaking. This alone speaks volumes.
Congratulations to you and the rest of the team on the good work being done. Please convey to Winston Garcia for me that his song Created & Redeemed is a most beautiful song of songs.
